Learn more about the tools I use to help the body heal, naturally.

Nutrition

When designing individual treatment plans for my patients, I consider diet to be an integral piece of the puzzle. Sometimes, elimination of food intolerances is necessary for the body to regain health; other times, it may be a lack of specific nutrients that are creating symptoms in a patient. I spend time discussing diet with each patient I see, as I recognize nutritional status as a vital part of the foundation of health.

Botanical Medicine

Botanical medicine has been used around the world for thousands of years, across many cultures, to promote health and healing. Plants have complex synergistic properties that work with the body to bring it back into alignment and a state of health. I have extensive training with plant medicine and my patients often leave with an individualized tincture to address their specific constellation of symptoms.

Homeopathy

Homeopathy is a specific system of medicine, developed by Samuel Hahnemann in the 1700s, which is based on the theory that “like cures like.” It uses dilute preparations of natural substances that stimulate the body’s innate self-healing capacity. Homeopathy is one of my favorite healing modalities because it is so gentle and effective. Often, I give a homeopathic remedy when meeting with patients, and symptoms begin to dissipate before they leave my office.

Biotherapuetic Drainage

Biotherapeutic drainage is a system of medicine that uses combination homeopathic remedies to open up the body’s natural routes of elimination. This is a gentle way to get the “junk” flowing out of the body in natural ways: through the liver, kidney, colon, lungs, etc. I do this by giving a series of liquid homeopathic remedies which, as with all aspects of my treatment plans, are individualized to each patient.
